I have this hobby of fixing up old houses. And for many years I was also doing it professionally while I was launching my company. For 10 years before that, I was restoring old homes as a hobby. I just loved how you could pair something back to expose it's soul and then slowly rebuild it from a place of love. I kind of fell in love with that work.

And truth be told, I really loved getting in there and doing it myself too. When we started, we actually did quite a lot ourselves. And to be honest, I had a little crush on painters. I used to follow them around home depot to sneak photos of them. They had the best clothes. Completely honest, natural living art. There really is almost nothing more beautiful that a pair of painter's trouser's layered up in their everyday work for years.. Really.

I sadly don't have time at this moment to be doing interiors right now. I am not working with clients anymore.. so I brought that love affair back inhouse. I thought why not blend my worlds together.

The Essential shirt in Ecru denim is hand-painted for a look inspired by my time in deep in the depths of an old home. The Painted Slouch jean has all the markings of a painter pant loved and lived in. These pieces contain my worlds inspired by the abstract and the in-between.
