My brand is an extension of me — quite literally, like an arm or a leg. A living extension of my truth. I am made up of so many things. So many activities, thoughts, inspirations, and emotions. A constant storm of becoming, of unfolding, and of change. 

 

 

Also within me, is something that does not ever change. The me at forty. The me at twenty. The me at ten. I can still see my baby in my 13 year old daughter. Still there. There is a thread that has always been the same. A truth. 

 

 

We all share this. Something in each of us, at our core, that never changes. There is that which changes and that which stays the same. This inherent duality — the Chaos and the Stillness.

 

 

I designed this symbol as a reminder of that duality. That there is beauty in the Chaos, and peace within the stillness, both which are always within us. A reminder that the Chaos we encounter does not always belong to us — that we can witness it, and let it go.

 

 

The roots of these ideas are not mine, they are rooted in ancient concepts of Samkhya philosophy.
